Projection
2025

Two weeks after the presidential election in November 2024, I began projecting images on museums and government buildings across the United States. My first projection took place on the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., where I displayed two images: the first contained a message addressed to then-President Joe Biden, and the second featured the phrase "We Shall Overcome" beneath a photograph from one of my feminist art parades. Since then, my projection sites have included, amongst others, the Supreme Court Building in New York, the Guggenheim Museum, Yellowstone National Park, UC Berkeley, and the Federal Building in San Francisco.

These guerrilla-style projections were independently produced, temporary, and executed without permission. There was no collaboration or affiliation with any of the locations.
