On Black Friday I shopdropped 10 hand signed prints of my artwork at IKEA in Emeryville, CA. Shopdropping is the opposite of shoplifting where merchandise is covertly placed in a store for display and sale.

Edition available at Electric Works

Dec. 2- Shopdropped 5 prints at IKEA outside of Miami and in the Deitch Projects booth at Miami Basel during Vernissage.

The art piece is an image of a mobile phone interactive 2D Barcode in the Swedish National colors of yellow and blue. Through new technology, cell phones are capable of scanning and decoding 2D Barcodes. The Barcode when decoded reads "You Are What You Buy". The art piece is compatible with iPhones and most other hand sets.
